This here allows you to change what language MultiMC is in, the default for it is English.

Image shows a screenshot of the Minecraft launcher with fabric 1.17.1 and Essential. You can sort your instances by last launched or by thier name. MultiMC is an alternative launcher for Minecraft. Here you can select the icon theme of MultiMC, here are the current ones. It allows you to have multiple, cleanly separated instances of Minecraft (each with their own mods, resource packs, saves, etc) and helps you manage them and their associated options with a simple and powerful interface. I dont know anybody, who uses this crappy launcher. You don't have to sign in to twitch to play Minecraft. #MULTIMC LAUNCHER PROFILE MOD#Ī downloadable profile with Labymod installed for those launcher(s) would be great or at least an option in the installer or just a fabric mod jar, which can be installed with every launcher. multimc is the unquestionably better launcher.

Operating System: Linux Minecraft Version: 1.19. it is unquestionably better in every way possible, except one: making and maintaining your own modpacks. Options like disabling/enabling mods, changing RAM allocation, and Java arguments are available by default. The twitch launcher is a big download, takes a minute to start every time (at least on my machine), requires a twitch sign in, blocks the features I listed until you go into advanced options and say, "I know what I'm doing." And last but certainly not least, Twitch updates come often. Every time I started it up, it wanted to update. And they take a long time, and almost never have anything to do with MC. In the coming months, MultiMC will be updated to support the new login system. Overall Twitch launcher is an app made for ~20 different things that have nothing to do with Minecraft. It let's you add and update mods a bit easier but I feel like I waste more time with all the other crap than I save.Įdit:also, adding packs to MultiMC is easy. Go to the pack's page on Curseforge and download a zip file for the pack. Then in multiMC, click New Modpack (or something like that) and it will let you either make your own or select that zip file to load a pack.
